The first exhibition held in Galerie Lambiek was with work by none other than Chris Ware.

It presented original cartoon drawings, incidental paintings, amusing trinkets and non-essential gadgets, "produced at The Acme Novelty Libary, Chicago, USA, under the harsh supervision of Mr. C. Ware."
